Welcome to PadyBox, operated by Sronics (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our platform at padybox.io (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
PadyBox is a cryptographically-secured voucher platform enabling diaspora senders to gift guaranteed-value vouchers — including fuel, groceries, and utilities — to recipients in West Africa. These terms govern all senders, recipients, and registered merchants on the platform.
Non-refundable after payment: Once payment has been confirmed and a voucher PIN has been issued, the transaction is final. No cash refunds will be issued. In the event of a platform error, PadyBox will issue a replacement voucher of equal value.
Single-use PIN: Each voucher is associated with a unique, single-use PIN. Once redeemed at a merchant terminal or via USSD, the voucher is permanently invalidated. PadyBox is not liable for PINs shared or exposed by the recipient.
SHA-256 cryptographic binding: All vouchers are cryptographically bound using SHA-256 to a specific merchant, value, and category at the time of issuance. This binding is immutable and cannot be altered after creation.
Expiry: Vouchers expire 90 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded.
Merchant lock: Vouchers are redeemable only at the specific merchant designated at the time of purchase. Cross-merchant redemption is technically impossible by design.
Recipients may redeem vouchers in three ways: (1) via the PadyBox web app using their account credentials; (2) at a registered merchant terminal by presenting the voucher PIN; or (3) via USSD by dialling *123*PADYBOX# (network charges may apply).
Partial redemption is not supported. A voucher must be redeemed for its full stated value in a single transaction.
In the event of a failed redemption due to a platform issue, please contact support@padybox.io within 48 hours with your voucher PIN and transaction reference.
Registered merchants agree to:
Merchants who violate these obligations may be immediately removed from the platform and may be subject to legal action.
Payments are processed through PawaPay (Ghana, Nigeria) and Monime (Sierra Leone), regulated mobile money gateways. By completing a payment, you agree to their respective terms of service in addition to these terms.
PadyBox charges a platform service fee on each transaction. The applicable fee is displayed at checkout before payment confirmation. Fees are non-refundable.
All prices are displayed in the local currency of the recipient's country (e.g. GHS for Ghana, SLE for Sierra Leone). Currency conversion, where applicable, is determined at the time of payment.
You may not use PadyBox to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PadyBox and Sronics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to PadyBox in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Republic of Ghana, as applicable to the jurisdiction of the transaction. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Freetown, Sierra Leone or Accra, Ghana, at the election of PadyBox.
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
