PadyBox was born from lived experience β watching families in the diaspora send money home only for it to be spent on something entirely different. Not out of malice, but out of necessity.

βThe problem isn't the people β it's the system. We're fixing the system.β
As a Sierra Leonean studying in Ghana, I've watched family members in the diaspora send money home β only to find it spent on something entirely different. Not out of malice, but out of necessity and the relentless pressure of immediate needs.
PadyBox was born from that lived frustration. Drawing on my MSc research in Intelligent Computing Systems at Ashesi University, I built a system that preserves intent β so when you send a Fuel Box, your family gets fuel, not uncertainty.
The Sronics team and I are committed to making trust the default in every transaction across West Africa. We believe the solution isn't financial literacy campaigns or hoping people will spend money βcorrectlyβ β it's engineering systems that make misuse structurally impossible.
Every voucher PadyBox generates is signed with SHA-256 β the same algorithm underpinning Bitcoin and global banking. It is bound to a specific merchant, a specific category, and a specific value. You don't have to trust anyone. The cryptography does that for you.
Start sending with trustWhat Drives Us
To preserve the intent behind every remittance β ensuring that when a family in the diaspora sends money for fuel, school, or groceries, that is exactly what their loved ones receive.
A West Africa where every financial gift carries cryptographic trust. Where a grandmother in a rural village can redeem a voucher on a feature phone without ever touching a smartphone.
Integrity first. Security without compromise. Radical inclusion β building for the last mile, not just the first. Every engineering decision must stand the test of the most vulnerable user.
